Flame Retardants - Lacquers

FLAMLAC

FLAMLAC
A high solid, two pack material of alkyd and amino resins which, when catalysed, will cold cure to give a tough resilient film, giving good heat, alcohol and water resistance. Flamlac, when used on Class 1 and Class 0 rated surfaces, will maintain the Class 1 and Class 0 rating. Approved for severe use to FIRA standard 6250: 1999.

Flame retardant acid catalysed lacquers will not upgrade timber or veneered timber boards to Class 1 and Class 0. For application to veneered fire boards, where a clear finish is required, treat veneer with Flamsol flame retardant solution prior to application of Flamlac. Where timber or timber boards require upgrading to Class 1 and Class 0, use Bollom’s Intuclear, Intulac or Broflame intumescent coatings.

FLAMSOL

FLAMSOL
A solvent based solution of Flame retardant salts, Flamsol, when used on a veneer applied to a fire rated board, will restore a Class 1 rating when used in conjunction with Flamlac acid catalysed Lacquer.

Please note: these 2 products are often used together to give the correct fire rating

What  our customers say.

"I purchased FlamebarRx to treat several sets of curtains that were used in an exhibition and weren't flame retardant. I would like to say that the product worked fantastically well and the delivery was superfast."
Mrs. Thomas - Buff Interiors.

"We nearly closed the Ideal Home Exhibition when we were told that our stand wasn't fire rated and needed a certificate. I spoke with Eddie and he came through for us. Thank you ever so much. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone."
